BONAS LISSE VIGNOBLE
Château de Lisse is a magnificent property set in incomparably beautiful surroundings with a long history of wine making. The chateau is situated in the rolling valleys of the Coteaux d'Agenais, one hour south of Bordeaux and 5 minutes from the pretty market town of Nérac.
The present vineyard consists of young vines planted between 2002 and 2005 on the site of the original 19th century vineyard. South-facing slopes on calcareous clay soils, protected by trees on the north side, give excellent exposure to the sun. 12 hectares are planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Carmenere and Tannat for the reds and Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Petit Manseng for the whites. Varietal wines are produced under the IGP Agenais in the newly renovated winery.
The team which is led by Cédric Walcker, includes Minette Constant, Master of Wine, who also gives wine tastings at the estate, together with Lucinda Pryor and Virginie Mikalef.
